A checklist for importers
Briquettes are bought on numbers. These questions keep the numbers honest.
Ten questions
- Which exact shape does the figure refer to?
- Are ash and fixed carbon given as received or dry?
- Which test method and which laboratory?
- Is there a report for this grade and this shape?
- What is the burn-time protocol?
- Do the figures on the site, the quotation and the COA match?
- What does one container carry in your pack?
- Which documents arrive with the goods?
- What is the HS code you declare?
- What happens when a delivery is outside the agreed figures?
How to use it
Send these questions to every supplier, Kora included, and compare the written answers side by side. A missing answer is information too. Where no report exists, for example for grade A, the honest answer is that none exists yet.
