Who this grade is for

Importers, distributors and brand owners who compare briquettes on figures and are willing to ask for the report behind them before the first order.

Shapes Kora lists

Nine moulds: cube in 25 mm and 26 mm, stick, hexagonal, hexagonal with hole, octagonal, finger, pillow, ball and dome. Shape changes density and ash, so ask for the figures of the exact shape you plan to buy.

Questions buyers ask

What ash, fixed carbon and moisture figures does Kora print for grade A briquettes?

Kora prints ash up to 2.5 per cent, fixed carbon at least 75 per cent, moisture up to 5 per cent, burn time at least 90 minutes per unit and 7,300+ kcal/kg on production cubes. These are Kora's printed figures, not independent results.

Is there a laboratory report behind the grade A briquette figures?

No. The only report Kora shows covers grade B samples, so the grade A figures have no independent backing yet. Ask sales for the test method, laboratory and basis (as received or dry) behind the ash and fixed carbon figures.

How are grade A briquettes packed, and how many fit in a 20-foot container?

They come in a 1 kg inner pack inside a 10 kg master carton, with about 18 MT indicated per 20-foot container. Shape changes density and ash, so ask for the figures and load for the exact shape you plan to buy.
