Under research, not yet verified · Report 092/LHU/P2HB/07/2026, July 2026, Ministry of Forestry, Center for Sustainable Forest Development (Bogor), on grade B production samples, as published by Kora.

Who this grade is for

Buyers who want a result they can hold up against their own sample test, and who will choose the shape from the data rather than from the name of the grade.

What the report shows and does not show

  • It covers grade B production samples only. It does not support the grade A figures.
  • The cube and the hexagonal rod differ a lot in calorific value, fixed carbon, ash and density.
  • Grade B values for orders are quoted per order, so confirm which shape and which lot your quotation refers to.

What to do with it

Request the full report, test your own sample in a laboratory you trust and compare. If your use depends on low ash, treat the hexagonal rod result as a reason to ask questions, not as a typical figure.

Questions buyers ask

How far apart are the cube and hexagonal rod results for grade B briquettes?

Very far. The cube gave 7,320 kcal/kg and 3.6 per cent ash; the hexagonal rod gave 5,609 kcal/kg and 14.9 per cent ash, with fixed carbon of 67.3 and 58.2 per cent. Choose the shape from the data, not from the grade name.

Where does the grade B briquette report come from, and can I see all of it?

The published summary names report 092/LHU/P2HB/07/2026, July 2026, from the Ministry of Forestry's Center for Sustainable Forest Development in Bogor. It omits method and basis, so ask sales through the inquiry form or WhatsApp for the full report.

Do the report figures apply to every grade B order?

Not automatically. The report covers production samples of two shapes. Grade B values for orders are quoted per order, so confirm which shape and lot your quotation refers to, and test your own sample before committing.
